Movie News: 'Masters of the Universe' helmer wants Dolph Lundgren to return

BY Matt Carter
We reported a while back that G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon Chu was going to helm the rebooted Masters of the Universe and that original He-Man, and owner of the finest blond locks in Hollywood Dolph Lundgren, was also interested in dusting off of his leather cod-piece, sharpening his Power Sword (that sounds pretty weird, doesn’t it?) and returning for the reboot.
Chu has admitted that he’d be more than happy to get Lundgren back on board, revealing to Getty Images Entertainment (via Superherohype):
I don’t know if Dolph Lundgren is around or what he’s doing but, yeah, I think that could be some fun if we could find a way. I hope he still has the loin cloth and the long hair and everything.
By the power of Greyskull that would be awesome if it came true. Would you guys like to see Lundgren return for Masters of the Universe? Since it would probably only be a cameo, who would you like to see take on the role of He-Man?
