Spawn remake is going to be R-Rated

After seventeen years, fans of Todd MacFarlane’s “Spawn” might finally be getting that second movie after all. It’s either a decision whose time has come or passed, depending on which way you come down on the issue.

The first “Spawn” film was released in 1997, when superhero films and CGI were both still coming in to their own.  With a budget of $40 million, the film took in just under $88 million, making it a modest success at the box office. General lack of familiarity with the character (the comic had only been around for a few years at that point) and overwhelmingly negative reviews were surely a factor.

“Spawn” stands for “Hellspawn,” and refers to departed humans whose viciousness in life cause them to be transformed into soldiers in Hell for the coming battle against Heaven. Al Williams was the most ruthless and cunning assassin yet, making him an ideal recruit when he was betrayed, killed and sent to Hell for his sins. He’s also African American (or at least he was before becoming a decaying demonic anti-hero) which is still a rarity among costumed heroes. Many fans of the comics felt the film was too soft with its PG-13 rating and that the CGI overpowered the story. Many also felt that John Leguizamo’s portrayal of the evil clown was uneven and Michael Jai White as the title character was just a pretty face and body with little dramatic ability.

MacFarlane discussed his intentions for a sequel last October, stating that he wanted to make a more horror-tinged film as opposed to an “Iron Man redo.” He sees the sequel he’s written as more like “LA Confidential” or “The Departed” with a “ghost moving around in it.”

It’s certainly a departure from the first film, eschewing all the trappings of overly ambitious superhero storytelling for what MacFarlane sees as a “ten million dollar R-rated supernatural movie that takes all the superhero stuff out of it.”

It will be interesting to see if audiences even want something like that from their costumed heroes these days. MacFarlane wants to direct the sequel as well as write it and hopes to start filming soon. -

'Resident Evil 6' Movie Release Date: Production Delay film release 2016

Earlier this summer, Paul W.S. Anderson, the writer and director of the hit video game-inspired movie series "Resident Evil," announced that the sixth instalment wouldn't be able to make it for September 2014 release date because he wasn't able to finish the second draft of the script. However, Milla Jovaovich herself said that filming would also have to be delayed because of her pregnancy.

"Happy Monday everyone! This was originally going to be a post to tell you how excited I am about flying to Cape Town to begin working on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. But… My husband Paul and I just discovered that we are expecting another baby!!! So after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone's best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an RE movie," she wrote.

Jovovich also addressed to the production team who, as reported, has already been preparing the set in Cape Town for their arrival.

"I would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been working so hard on the movie in South Africa already and we are so looking forward to working with you all next summer," she added.

As suggested in the movie's working title, "Resident Evil 6" is supposed to be the last installment in the series. It will be filmed entirely in 3D. Previous reports already pointed out that aside from Jovovich (Alice), Li Bingbing will also reprise her role as Ada Wong.

Other speculations also indicated that since this would be the last, fans will be able to see the return of a handful of past characters including Michelle Rodriguez's Rain Ocampo.

"Resident Evil 6: The Final Chapter" can be expected to come out later in 2016.

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge are being done in bad taste that's not for charity by some people.

I'm writing this because ive noticed a few video online from people that are doing this Ice bucket challenge in bad taste just to get notice or for a laugh & not for the Charity. This is in bad taste to a serious condition that some people have, These Actors/Actress & music industry singers, few people i know are doing the ice Bucket challenge to donate money to the ALS charity not for fame or for a laugh to get notice for there own reason it to get ALS notice so these people that have it can get the help they need.

ALS IS A NOT A JOKE TO BE USE FOR AN EXCUSSE FOR A LAUGH TO DO THIS CHALLENGES, PEOPLE HAVE NOTICED THE ONE DOING IT , STOP IT,  YOUR NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!!!

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), sometimes called Lou Gehrig's disease, is a rapidly progressive, invariably fatal neurological disease that attacks the nerve cells (neurons) responsible for controlling voluntary muscles (muscle action we are able to control, such as those in the arms, legs, and face). The disease belongs to a group of disorders known as motor neuron diseases, which are characterized by the gradual degeneration and death of motor neurons.

So if you going to do this ice bucket challenge & challenge others to it, do it for charity like the stars are &  not for your own selfish reason to get notice for a laugh its sick & twisted , Act like human beings & not some stupid self-centre idiots ALS IS NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!!. donate money to the charity with the ice bucket challenge.....
